Usually every QA Tester starts from the position of Manual OA. It gives you an idea of the profession, work experience, and an understanding of QA in general. Also it gives the opportunity to decide where to move on.

What salary can Manual QA Tester expect? Well, from $ 70,000 to $ 100,000 per year on average in the United States, that is, $ 35-50 per hour. In New York or the cities of Silicon Valley, the salary usually is higher from $ 90,000 to $ 100,000 per year.
It doesn’t mean that you should look for a job in QA only in a city such as New York because after finishing the program you already will be a middle-level specialist with all the necessary knowledge about the profession and who can apply for the higher salary. 2. Lead / Manager
A positive person with good communication skills should try himself in a leadership position as a Lead Software QA Engineer or Software QA Manager.
An experienced manager has a good salary around $ 115,000 per year.
